Robert Whitaker is burned indelibly into most Beatles’ fans memories because of the infamous “baby butcher” cover for The Beatles Yesterday and Today but before that gaffe he was responsible for covering the Beatles on tour from 1964-1966. Some of the closeups here predict his later style as an art photographer, in fact.
